Morning Mumblings...

I have started a new preventative medicine called Topamax and it is supposed to reduce the number of migraines I have. To be honest,I have noticed a bit of change...anyway... I woke up in a lot of pain yesterday and should've known because the barometric pressure was around 29IN. To me that means, pressure in my sinus cavity, eye area, and forehead. I was down all day yesterday and woke up this morning with a bit of it left. I woke up an hour earlier to give my body a chance to catch up because I have a LONG day at work today. Speaking of work,I have been spoiled when it comes to having coworkers being understanding of my conditions. When I was working at the school,I never had to worry about explaining myself or having to listen to the ignorance of some nasty attitude "normal' people. Unfortunately, at this new job, there are a few of my co workers that are ignorant to chronic disease and illness. I see their looks when a caring co worker asks me "am I okay?" on a day that my back and pinched nerve were doing the MOST....they look at me like I'm weak.  But what they don't understand is I am strong and NOTHING will hold me back or down. So, even though I am in a "migraine hangover" state and could possibly get another one today due to the weather(the barometric pressure is currently 30.12 IN), I will not allow them to see me succumb to any pain today. It's time to show them who's boss! So, I have about 20 minutes until I need to start getting ready for work. I am going to use that time to stretch and meditate while listening to music in my bluetooth headphones. (Don't want to wake the honey up lol) I do certain types of yoga moves to loosen up my back especially, but other muscles and joints as well. Maybe I'll do a post about it. Well, enjoy your Thursday morning. It is now 5:30am and I must start my day!!!! Happy "Friday Jr!"
